    Description

    Antique Hand Painted Porcelain KPM Krister Porzellan Cup Germany c. 1904-1927
    This hand painted cup features a figure in nightgown and nightcap holding a candle in a candleholder.
    It shows the same repeating pattern all the way around the cup.
    It is not glazed on top of the paint.   It may have been painted after purchase.
    The design is reminiscent of early children's book illustrations.
    It is a very small teacup, which measures 2 1/2" across the rim and 1 3/4" high.
    No chips or cracks.  The image is in good condition.
    It is marked KPM with a maker's mark for Krister Porzellan Manufaktur
    c. 1904-1927 of Waldenburg, Germany.
