ITEM DESCRIPTION
Item Description
Up for your consideration is a fine covered urn, made by KPM (Germany) with the KPM scepter mark, dating the piece to the 1860 - 1880s era.  The piece features a blue/almost turquoise glaze with cracked white "draping" throughout.  The piece is large, measuring 12" tall and about 10" wide.
Overall, the piece is in very
good restored condition.  At one time, one or both of the handles were damaged, and professionally restored.  This can only be detected through close inspection, and (for the most part) if you were told that it was repaired in advance.  The last picture shows underneath one of the bows, where there may be some glue residue. Otherwise, there are no visible chips, cracks, or other issues.
