KPM Berlin Hand Painted Weichmalerei Flowers & Raised Gold 3 7/8 Inch Vase
Beautiful small porcelain vase. Decorated with hand paitned Weichmalerei flowers in pink, ivory, purple, and orange framed by raised gold scrollwork. With raised gold floral designs in between. Has a band of ivory around the shoulder, with smaller gold bands around the ivory and gold gilding around the opening. Has a wide band of pink around the foot rim with smaller gold bands, and gold gilding along the foot rim. Marked on the bottom with the underglaze blue scepter mark used by KPM Berlin. Probably late 19th century.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 2 3/4 inches wide x 3 7/8 inches tall.
