Very Rare Nikon Auto Winder AW-1
for Nikon EL-2 and Nikkormat EL-W
Few units were made for this winder. Ever fewer units exist today in excellent working condition.
The winder is tested with camera - 100% working. Winds strong and smooth. Battery compartment is clean no sign of battery corrosion.
Cosmetically EX+. Looks nice and clean. A little very light rub marks on the bottom. A little bright spots near the "OFF" wording. All else is very clean. Leather is tight and excellent. Please see photos for cosmetic conditions.
Note this unit works with EL2 and EL-W only, not for EL. Those three cameras all have "EL" on the prism housing but EL-2 has "Nikon" on nameplate instead of "Nikkormat"/"Nikomat". EL-W serial number starts with W and bottom has motor coupler. EL bottom plate is just flat metal w/ no coupler.
Batteries are not included (runs on 6x AA batteries).
